Acceptable Use Policy.

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the terms that apply between us and any user of tech110.com. Using the site indicates that you accept and agree to comply with this Policy.

1. Application

1.1 This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all users of tech110.com, whether registered account holders or otherwise. By accessing tech110.com you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms and Conditions of Sale, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

1.2 If you do not agree with this Policy you must stop using tech110.com immediately.

2. Prohibited use

You may not use tech110.com for any of the following purposes:

  • Any purpose that is unlawful, fraudulent, or in breach of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Purchasing Products with the intention of reselling them outside of an approved Business Account (consumer accounts are for personal or in-house business use only).
  • Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Placing Orders using stolen, forged, or unauthorised payment credentials.
  • Using the site to send unsolicited commercial communications to us, other users or third parties.
  • Providing false or misleading information at Order or Business Account application.
  • Circumventing pricing, discount rules, or Business Account eligibility.
  • Any purpose that would breach our contractual obligations to our distributors, including but not limited to purchases which would be considered "grey market" or "parallel imports" from the manufacturer's or distributor's perspective.

3. Automated access, scraping and data extraction

3.1 You may not use any robot, spider, scraper, crawler, or other automated means to access, monitor, extract, download or index any part of tech110.com, its content, pricing data, availability data, or Product listings without our express prior written consent.

3.2 You may not use tech110.com or our data to build, train, augment or evaluate any dataset, artificial intelligence model, machine learning system, price comparison engine, or aggregator service, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

3.3 You may not systematically download, copy, republish or resell any part of the tech110.com catalogue.

3.4 We may use technical measures to detect and block automated access. We may bring civil or criminal proceedings against those who breach this clause.

4. Content standards

Where you submit any content to tech110.com (including but not limited to reviews, questions, and Contact form messages), that content must:

  • Be accurate (where you state facts).
  • Be genuinely held (where you state opinions).
  • Comply with applicable law in England and Wales.
  • Not be defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, or inflammatory.
  • Not promote sexually explicit material, violence, discrimination, illegal activity, or copyright infringement.
  • Not deceive, harass, or impersonate any person.
  • Not contain personal information about others without their consent.
  • Not include advertising, chain letters, or spam.

By submitting content you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, publish, adapt and distribute that content in connection with our business.

5. Security

You may not:

  • Introduce or distribute any virus, trojan, worm, logic bomb, keystroke logger or other harmful code to tech110.com.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to tech110.com, our servers, computer systems, or connected networks.
  • Interfere with, damage or disrupt tech110.com or any equipment or network on which it is stored.
  • Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of tech110.com.
  • Attack tech110.com via a denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attack.

Doing so may constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and will co-operate fully in their investigation.

6. Enforcement

Breach of this Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a material breach of the terms on which you are permitted to use tech110.com. We may take any or all of the following actions in response:

  • Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use tech110.com.
  • Immediate, temporary or permanent removal of your customer account or Business Account.
  • Cancellation of pending Orders.
  • Refusal to accept future Orders from you.
  • Issue of a warning to you.
  • Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs and losses (including but not limited to reasonable administrative and legal costs).
  • Disclosure of information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary or as required by law.
